The Idea
Most rental platforms are built for scale, not safety. They connect strangers with strangers, prioritise volume over trust, and leave both hosts and guests navigating a system where accountability is an afterthought.
Rent for Friends takes a different approach. We started with a simple observation: the best rental experiences happen between people who already know each other. When you stay at a friend's place, there's an inherent level of care, honesty, and mutual respect that no algorithm can replicate.
So we built a platform that extends that feeling outward — through trusted networks of friends-of-friends, where every member is personally vouched for and every connection is real.

Membership is earned, not bought. Every applicant is vouched for by people who know them and verified before they join.

Share your details and confirm your email address. Everything you provide stays private to our team.
Collect Three Vouches
Three existing members vouch for you before your application is reviewed. We email your referrers, and you get a shareable vouch link to chase any who don't respond.
Verify Your Identity
Once your vouches are in, a quick government-ID check (passport or driving licence) confirms you are who you say you are. It takes about two minutes.
Final Review & Welcome
Our team reviews your application, photo, vouches, and ID. Once approved, you receive a warm welcome and full access to the community.

Book Your Stay
Select check-in and check-out dates, review the price breakdown (nightly rate + 10% platform fee), and send a booking request — or book instantly.
Message the Host
Chat directly with the host to ask questions, coordinate arrival times, or just say hello. Quick-reply templates make it easy.

Enjoy your stay. Afterwards, leave a rating, written review, and photos to help future guests.
